Martyna Wisniewska

Born in 1992 in Poland, Martyna began her piano studies at the age of six. She made her debute at the age of ten at the Romantic Music Festival (PL) presenting a repertoire of works by Fredric Chopin.

After completing school education, she studied at Mykola Lysenko Music Academy in Lviv, Ukraine, in the class of a renowned pianist and pedagogue Oksana Rapita, graduating with a Bachelor of Music Degree in 2015.

Her repertoire spreads from the works of Domenico Scarlatti to Sofia Gubaidulina. However, a special place in Martyna's performances belongs to Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Schubert and Fredric Chopin, the composers who inspire her the most.

Chamber music is especially important to Martyna. She has performed as a collaborative pianist and an accompanist with many musicians and ensembles, such as string quartet 'Academia' and world's leading dramatic mezzo-soprano Malgorzata Walewska.

Martyna is a laureate of various piano competitions: International Chopin Competition in Mazovia (PL), International Piano Forum 'Bieszczady without boundaries' (PL) and Chopin Piano Competition for Young Pianists among others. She has participated in numerous masterclasses with Peter Bradley- Fulgoni, Jaroslaw Drzewiecki, Vera Nosina, Lyudmila Zakopets, Alexandra Zvirblyte among others. Leading an active concert activity, she has performed in Poland, Ukraine, Sweden and Spain.

Apart from performing, Martyna enjoys working as a pedagogue, sharing Polish and Russian piano traditions with her students.

Being an advocate for classical music, Martyna pursued her love for music management and obtained a Master Degree in Arts Management from International University of Catalonia; Barcelona, Spain.
